PDF TOOL GUIDE

Choose the smallest operation that solves the job

Choose a PDF tool by the change you need to make, not simply by the file extension. Editing adds or replaces visible content, organizing changes page order, and conversion creates a different file format. These operations have different effects on layout and editability.

Use Merge PDF to join complete documents, Split PDF to extract selected pages, Organize PDF to reorder or remove pages, and Rotate PDF when only page orientation is wrong. Compression rebuilds page content to reduce size and can trade visual detail for a smaller download. The editor is intended for adding and revising visible content; it is not a substitute for recovering every source object from a complex design file.

Check layout, fonts and security before sharing

PDF is designed to preserve appearance, so converting it into Word or PowerPoint may produce editable text with a layout that needs correction. Uncommon fonts, transparency, scanned pages, forms, signatures and password protection can affect what a browser tool can preserve. Keep the original document and review every page of the result before using it as an official copy.

Frequently asked questions

Should I edit the PDF or convert it first?

Edit the PDF when you only need to add, remove or revise visible content. Convert it when the destination must be a Word document, PowerPoint presentation or set of page images.

Why can compression change image quality?

Our PDF compressor renders every page to a JPEG image. Text is no longer selectable and forms are no longer fillable. Stronger settings may soften scans and fine lines; a smaller result is not guaranteed.

Can every encrypted PDF be processed?

No. A document that requires a password or blocks modification must be unlocked with the owner’s permission before a browser tool can change it.
