PRIVACY & SECURITY

Your files stay yours.

Files opened from your device are processed entirely inside your browser. Their contents are not sent to, stored by or backed up on Free2Everyone servers.

100% local file processing

Local by design

File processing runs in the browser. Temporary working data is separate from the optional or automatic recovery copies described below; closing a tab is not a reliable way to erase saved browser data.

Local recovery copies and settings

PDF Editor can save the last PDF, filename and edits in IndexedDB on this browser for recovery. Templates and preferences may also remain locally after closing or refreshing. They are not a server backup and may be lost if storage is cleared or evicted. Download anything you need first. To remove them, close all Free2Everyone tabs and delete this site’s cookies and website data in your browser settings. This also removes preferences and may sign you out; it does not delete files already downloaded to your device. Avoid leaving recovery data on shared devices.

Cloud import is an explicit exception

If you choose Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, your browser signs in to that provider and downloads the selected file directly from the provider into the isolated tool. Free2Everyone does not proxy or store the file. The provider still processes the sign-in and download under its own privacy terms.

Traffic metadata we keep

To operate and secure the service, we record visit time, requested page, IP address, browser user agent and referrer/source. The admin can choose a retention period from 1 to 365 days and delete the records at any time. This metadata does not contain your tool files.

Advertising and external services

Public pages may load Google AdSense. Google and other advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to collect information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted and consented to, personalisation. Google’s advertising cookies may use visits to this and other websites to personalise ads. These advertising activities are separate from local file processing. Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive sign-in scripts load when you choose the corresponding cloud feature.

Advertising and privacy choices

You can manage Google ad personalisation in My Ad Center and control cookies in your browser. Turning off personalisation does not remove all advertising. Where a consent message is shown, use its choices to accept, reject or manage optional advertising data use. The Google links below explain their data practices. Clearing browser storage may require you to choose again.

Messages you choose to send

Contact messages are an explicit exception to local-only file processing: the name, email, topic, message and optional advertising details you submit are stored on our server for the administrator to respond. We also store submission time, language and an IP/browser-derived anti-spam hash. Messages remain until removed by the administrator. Do not send passwords, private documents or sensitive file contents. You can request deletion through the privacy contact option.

Accounts and assistant messages

Creator sign-in is closed. Previously saved account history, capped at 500 recent message records per account, may remain until removed. Tool Assistant messages and attachment names, sizes and types are sent to our server, but file bytes are not. Unmatched questions may be logged with language, session identifier, timestamps and occurrence count; these logs have no automatic expiry. Clearing browser data does not delete server records. Request deletion through the privacy contact form.

What “confidential” means here

We promise 100% local processing for files opened from your device: Free2Everyone does not receive or retain their contents. We do not claim that an ordinary website visit is anonymous, because traffic metadata and advertising may still involve personal data.

OneDrive uses Microsoft delegated Files.Read permission during the browser session. It can list and read the signed-in user’s OneDrive files so you can choose one; the access token is not sent to or stored by Free2Everyone.
