Image Merger
100% local file processing

Direct answer

What is this tool?

Image Merger combines pictures in vertical, horizontal, grid, or masonry layouts. Set inner and output padding independently from 0 to 200px. Random method defaults to None for a deterministic, reproducible average arrangement; other methods use Seed and Re-roll. Turn crop off to preserve proportions without cropping: visible gaps equal inner padding and all four borders equal output padding.

How to use Image Merger

  1. Add imagesChoose or drop the images you want to combine into one file.
  2. Arrange and choose a layoutReorder the images and select vertical, horizontal, grid, or masonry placement.
  3. Set both padding valuesChoose inner padding for the exact gap between images and output padding for the four canvas edges; each accepts 0–200px.
  4. Choose a Random methodKeep None for a deterministic average arrangement, or choose Shuffle order, Random sizes, or Random mosaic and use Seed or Re-roll.
  5. Choose crop or no-cropLeave Crop images to fill on for filled cells, or turn it off to keep complete images at their original proportions.
  6. Preview the merged imageReview the layout and adjust background, corners, format, quality, and output width.
  7. Download one imageMerge the non-overlapping layout and save the single PNG, JPG, or WebP file.

Frequently asked questions

Is Image Merger free to use?

Yes. Image Merger is free to use online.

Do I need to register or create an account?

No. You can use the tool without registering, signing in, or creating an account.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Your images stay in your browser and are not uploaded to the Free2Everyone server.

Which formats does this tool support?

The supported input formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, and AVIF. Output is PNG, JPG, or WebP.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no server upload limit. Very large combined canvases may still be limited by browser memory; set a smaller maximum width and retry.

What is the difference between inner padding and output padding?

Inner padding is the visible gap between neighboring images. Output padding is the border around all four sides of the finished canvas. Each can be set independently from 0 to 200px.

What does Random method = None mean, and is the result reproducible?

None uses a fully deterministic average arrangement, so the same images and settings always produce the same layout. The other methods use the Seed; keep it to reproduce a random layout or choose Re-roll for a new one.

Will images be distorted with cropping turned off, and are the gaps consistent?

No. No-crop scales each image proportionally without cutting it. The visible gap between images equals inner padding exactly, and the border on every side equals output padding.
