What is this tool?
PPT Media Extractor opens one or more PPTX packages locally and copies every embedded picture, audio clip, and video from the presentation media folder into a downloadable ZIP archive. Each input has an independent queue status, so an invalid or encrypted file fails clearly without interrupting valid presentations in the same batch.
How to use PPT Media Extractor
- Best used forChoose .pptx files, review the queue and run Process all. The current batch accepts up to 20 files, at most 250 MiB each. Download each successful ZIP; an invalid or encrypted presentation can fail without stopping other items.
- What the result changesThe ZIP copies files actually embedded in ppt/media: pictures, audio and video. It does not download externally linked media or turn charts, text and shapes into separate pictures. Archive names may be internal package names rather than the original filenames.
- Check before you finishOpen the ZIP and independently check the images or clips you need. A presentation with text and shapes but no embedded media can legitimately report that no media was found. Keep the original PPTX; a media archive is not a complete slide backup.
