PPT Metadata Cleaner removes author names, company details, comments, last-editor information, custom properties, and related document metadata from PPTX packages in your browser. It preserves presentation slides and embedded media, validates required package parts before processing, and returns a separate cleaned PPTX for every successful item while isolating invalid files in the batch.
How to use PPT Metadata Cleaner
- Best used forSelect .pptx files and run Process all; batches accept up to 20 files, at most 250 MiB each. Save the cleaned copies separately from the originals. Encrypted or invalid packages are not supported.
- What the result changesThe cleaner removes selected author/company properties, comments and custom document properties. It is not complete anonymisation: slide text, speaker notes, hidden slides and embedded files or editor recovery data may still contain personal information.
- Check before you finishExample: clean a copy of a three-slide deck, then reopen it and check that all three slides and required media remain. Inspect document properties and comments, and manually review notes and embedded content before sharing. A successful status does not certify removal of every private detail.
